2025 marked the highly anticipated return of Jean-Pascal Zadi behind the camera, five years after Tout simplement noir.
To support the release of Le Grand Déplacement, Carburant partnered with Gaumont on all fronts.
On the agenda: platform-first material content formats, on-site event coverage, and original concepts crafted by our UGC creators.
A full-throttle mission to proudly launch this bold space comedy, grounded on Earth, but aimed at the stars.
To support Le Grand Déplacement, Carburant crafted a series of content capsules designed to perform online. From reimagined trends and native social formats (Aura trend, listicle-style videos…) to a humorous junket with Jean-Pascal Zadi shot right in our studio, each piece was built around a strong social insight or viral mechanic.
The goal: spotlight the film through a new lens, aligned with the native codes of each platform.
To reach a younger audience and offer a fresh entry point into Le Grand Déplacement, we designed two creator-led UGC formats.
On one hand, a pedagogical interview with the film’s VFX supervisor to break down the movie’s technical behind-the-scenes.
On the other, a playful street interview filmed at Les Halles with a simple question: “One ticket for you… or two for the next person?”
From the streets to the theater, the agency captured the film’s most striking moments.
On one side, a monumental mural of Jean-Pascal Zadi suited up as an astronaut, painted in Les Halles and revealed to the actor on-site — filmed over two days in a timelapse and edited for social media.
On the other, a branded food truck event, captured on video during a surprise appearance by Jean-Pascal Zadi and Fadily Camara: audience interactions, spontaneous moments, and rising energy right before the screening.
