The organization of the Olympic Games in Paris makes 2024 an unforgettable year for France. For this unique occasion, Atout France, the French tourism development agency, entrusted Carburant with the mission of highlighting French regions on social media. The objective: to showcase the diversity and richness of the French territories through the "Explore France" accounts on Instagram and Facebook. In total, 22 original pieces of content were created, blending art purchases, captures, vox pops, and interviews, to captivate and engage an international audience.
Two interviews were conducted to embody the spirit of the Olympic Games. The first content features Amandine Chaignot in her restaurant in Montmartre. A renowned chef and consultant for the Olympics, this interview also offers a glimpse into her favorite spots in her neighborhood, her cuisine, and her inspirations. The second content follows a typical day of Alexis Sanchez, a Paralympic rowing athlete. From his rigorous training in preparation for the Games in the Lot region to his life in Marseille, these privileged moments reveal his goals and deep connection to these territories.
Three captures were made in the iconic cities of Paris, Lyon, and Marseille, each with the objective of immersing viewers in the atmosphere of the Olympic Games. These videos highlight not only the bustling life during the Games but also the local specialties and hidden gems of these cities. From the lesser-known spots in Paris, often overlooked by tourists, to the traboules of Lyon, and the undiscovered jewels of Marseille, each capture offers a unique perspective on a France in celebration.
To give a voice to those living at the heart of the action, a series of vox pops were conducted in the streets of Paris. Two questions were posed to Parisians: what place would you recommend to tourists visiting Paris during the Games, and where would you go to escape the crowd during this period? The responses collected offer an authentic insight into the locals' favorite spots, ranging from must-see sites to quiet corners, ideal for recharging away from the Olympic hustle and bustle.
To enrich the social media content offering, carefully selected art purchases were integrated into various themes related to the Olympic Games. Each content, whether it is the "How to" guide on eco-friendly travel in France, the "Save for" plan for your next travel destinations, the "Top 5" on must-see Olympic sites, or the "POV" for an immersive tour of Paris by metro, was designed to resonate with the Olympic spirit.
