24 years after the release of the iconic Gladiator, Ridley Scott took the bold gamble of making a sequel, distributed by Paramount Pictures. Carburant's social campaign focused on one of the film’s major strengths: the (iconic) cast. The campaign was marked by two key moments in France: the Meta Halloween Party, where Paramount Pictures France was a partner, and the Paris premiere of the film at the Pathé Palace.
This year, Paramount Pictures partnered with Meta for their annual Halloween party! The event brought together trending content creators, with costume-themed festivities. Naturally, Paramount Pictures highlighted Ancient Rome and its gladiators, with our Social Media Manager interviewing them on the event's TV Line. The edited videos, posted in semi-live mode, generated hundreds of thousands of views.
For the film's premiere at the stunning Pathé Palace, with the special presence of Connie Nielsen and Denzel Washington, Carburant deployed its Social Media Managers throughout the cinema to cover every corner of the event, with one goal in mind: capture THE moment with viral potential. The result: videos posted in semi-live mode on TikTok and Instagram Stories, garnering hundreds of thousands of views.
Armed with a branded microphone for the occasion, our Social Media Manager had the chance to interview the cast of the film on the TV Line during the premiere and discuss the making of Gladiator II. This close interaction resonated with the fans of the actress and actor on TikTok, generating hundreds of thousands of views on the posted videos and overwhelmingly positive comments.
There are those small everyday actions that truly deserve a bit more recognition! Carburant found two funny and dedicated content creators to bring an isolated audio clip from the official movie trailer to life, featuring the line: “Is this how Rome treats its heroes?”
The challenge: identify relatable daily insights that resonate with the widest audience—and the comments poured in accordingly! 🔥
